Meeting the Hand of God
I have no idea why it took me so long to load this -- but the video below is one of the greatest moments of my life. At the Olympics, I was introduced to Diego Maradona (THANK YOU ADAM AND JARED!!!) in the stands at men's game v. Argentina...check it out. I grew up watching this guy with my dad...it was hands down, the most nervous I have ever been to meet somebody. If you don't know who this guy is...please find out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maradonna ... or check out the documentary on him: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454976/ Shout out to K Law and D for recording the video!

I actually have his autobiography in the original español rioplatense. "Yo Soy El Diego." Man, he is quite sure of himself! It's interesting to understand the thoughts of this mystery wrapped in a riddle wrapped in an enigma.
Another interesting angle is that his daughter just got knocked up by Sergio Agüero, "El Kun." El Kun and Lionel Messi (and, to a lesser extent, Carlos Tévez and Javier Mascherano) are currently viewed as the saviours of the national side. Of course, they seem to have found ways to blow it in recent years. ;-)
