The Chicago Bears and more than  twenty other NFL franchises started their voluntary workout programs on Monday afternoon. Head coach Matt Eberflus and GM Ryan Poles will host certain players at Halas Hall as the ramp-up period begins for the 2024 season.

Bears Voluntary Workouts

The Bears are allowed to host player meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehab workouts during the first two weeks of the program. Afterward, they can move on to on-field drills and workouts but without contact and only individual players. There are no offense vs. defense drills allowed in this phase.

The third phase consists of organized team activities (OTAs) and lasts four weeks. The Chicago Bears are only allowed ten days of OTAs and cannot have any live contact. But team drills of 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 are allowed.

These voluntary offseason workouts at Halas Hall will conclude before the mandatory minicamp held in June.
