It’s fair to say that Real Madrid won’t have been delighted to see Jorge Mendes becoming young Lille talent Leny Yoro’s agent.

The club and Mendes have grown more distant over the years, and currently the Portuguese does not represent and of their first team stars.

But a report in Marca today claims that his work with Yoro isn’t going to affect any potential move to the Bernabeu. He wants to keep his young client happy, and Yoro has made it very clear that his aim is to move to Real Madrid.

It will be a major operation, with Lille asking for €100m, so Madrid will be relieved to remove as many obstacles along the way as possible, including this one.

The giant teenager want the move, and Madrid are in no hurry, knowing his deal expires in little over a year. The whole situation is moving in their favour, Mendes or not.
